My 4 1/2 month old puppy does play and train at Humphrey’s and the trainer (Ashlyn) is great! I get videos of what she’s working on and how to do it at home after each session. My puppy is very energetic and I’ve struggled with getting/keeping her attention, after only 2 sessions shes been so much better. I’ll be signing up for more classes!

Humphreys is the BEST! The owners are genuine and intentional with making sure every dog/owner is taken care of and the whole staff is so welcoming and friendly. They treat all of the dogs with so much love and attention. My dog absolutely LOVES daycare and comes home worn out from playing with his friends all day! I have noticed he is overall much calmer just from being at daycare and socializing. He has overnight boarded as well and we had a great experience! Highly recommend everything about Humphreys!!

I’ve loved everything about Humphrey’s Dog Resort! They have different opportunities for each type of dog personality. They have enrichment programs, boarding, grooming, daycare, holiday/birthday pictures!! The staff cares about each guest and family and strive to memorize each guest. I absolutely love Humphreys!

I’ve experienced & witnessed, first hand, the top of the line level of care that staff provides. From the smiling & friendly faces at the front desk to the back of house staff to management the commitment to that top level care is always visible. Working with animals is not easy. It truly is a labor of love & the ability to provide that care consistently only comes from those who have a deep love for dogs. Which is why Humphreys is THE BEST dog facilty in Jefferson County!!! Also the Gen. Manager, Joanna Garcia, has extensive knowledge and experience in all things dog as she has worked with them in different capacities for over 30 years. I absolutely LOVE Humphreys and you will too!!

Humphreys has provided much relief to me and so much joy to my dog. Happy is high energy, very social and needs a lot of playtime and activity. I can take her to Humphreys and I know she is safe, entertained and having fun with her crew. Their friendly staff, the location, the play areas and all the services they offer are top notch. Recently, I had to board her overnight. Knowing she was going somewhere fun, there was no stress or anxiety (for her or me!). When I pull up to Humphreys, Happy cannot wait to get out of the car – she absolutely loves it and I do too!

My dog has had the best experience at Humphrey’s! He absolutely loves going to day care. Since going, he has really come out of his shell. He is more sure of himself and has more confidence. The staff is absolutely amazing! They make me feel so comfortable leaving my dog in their care, but more importantly my dog feels comfortable. My dog just got groomed at Humphrey’s for the first time and I was really nervous since it was his first hair cut. They reassured me the whole time that he would look amazing and I was not disappointed. The groomer did a perfect job and he has never looked better. I recommend Humphrey’s to anyone with a dog!

Jaxon at Humphreys Dog Resort did such an amazing job on our Goldendoodle! He listened to everything we wanted done. Me and my wife love him grooming our pups. Highly HIGHLY recommend!

I just can’t say enough good about this place! I’ve known Joanna for many years and have followed her from being my Shih Tzu’s groomer 10 years ago to now here at Humphrey’s. In short she’s the best!! You can be confident that your pet will be well taken care of here. She loves these animals like no other! The funny pic is our sweet Lyra after daycare and grooming. I like to take her once in a while to play with other dogs. She had a blast! The groomers are phenomenal too. In fact Jaxson was the first to clean Lyra all up when we adopted her from a shelter 2 years ago. He loved on her and made her feel so comfortable and safe. They all really go the extra mile. We just had Lyra boarded for 4 nights and I never worried about her. I hate to leave my fur babies but it’s comforting to know that if I have to then they’ll be well cared for and I won’t have to worry.

I recently started bringing my gsd, Denver, to Humphrey’s after getting to tour the facility and talk with the owner. My boy comes home from daycare after a full day of playing with friends, and it is so great knowing he is cared for and having fun while I am working. Humphrey’s staff has been phenomenal about paying attention to his needs/quirks and responding accordingly with his best interest at heart. I really appreciate the clear communication and being kept in the loop from the manager and handlers. They went above the call of duty when Denver was boarding there & needed medication from his vet, which they helped me handle while I was out of town. We love Humphrey’s, the clean facilities, and lovely staff!!
